A new web platform (www.eu4business.md/dcfta) has been launched to provide information for Moldovan businesses and citizens about the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area (DCFTA) agreement between the European Union and the Republic of Moldova.
The web platform, established by the EU-funded Visibility and Communication for AA/DCFTA project, includes specific and detailed information for businesses about the opportunities available for them under the free trade agreement to increase competitiveness and to start or increase exports.
It also provides step-by-step written and video guides to assist Moldovan companies to meet DCFTA requirements, raise competitiveness, achieve high quality standards and export to EU countries.
Links are included for further information on specific issues (e.g. customs procedures, food safety requirements, standards and certification) and for the financial and other support available to Moldovan businesses to help them take advantage of opportunities under DCFTA. Answers are provided to specific questions raised by businesses.
The web portal provides a calendar of events and trainings for businesses, details of the support programmes offered by the project’s partners such as ODIMM, support provided by business organisations such as the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and assistance available from EU-funded programmes.
All information on the web portal is available in both Romanian and Russian languages.
