Certification of origin of exported goods is of major importance when doing trade with other countries. Where there are no free trade agreements between Moldova and the country of export, a certificate of non-preferential origin will be required. This document is also issued if a product does not comply with preferential origin rules, but your partner from another country asks you to confirm the origin of the delivered product.
The CCI of the Republic of Moldova is the only authority authorized to issue non-preferential origin certificates (of general form “C”).
The certificate of origin issued by CCI will make sure you comply with contract terms and the laws of the country of import. These certificates are shown to the customs authorities in the country of import and are recognized as proof of the origin of products manufactured and/or processed in Moldova.
